Philly producer Nick Anthony has just recruited up-and-coming NYC singer Restless Modern for his wonky new alt. pop single ‘Mistakes’. From the onset Restless Modern bares all on confessional lines like ‘I’ve been known to get things wrong’ shining a little on the confessional nature of the song which is then refreshingly juxtaposed against Anthony’s bouncy and upbeat production. Restless Modern’s soothing vocal blends perfectly with Anthony’s use of instrumentation featuring vibey synths and a smooth bassline which combine to make a lush ambience.
